charming, charming, charming
Every detail in this older hotel exudes charm, from the traditional Swiss decor to the fine views of the surrounding area. The buffet breakfast served high-quality local items, including delicious homemade bread and cheeses, which really elevated the experience. The host, Robert, went above and beyond, providing us with a Lucerne Visitor Card that allowed for convenient public transport access right outside the hotel.
100% recommend ❤️❤️

Charming character of the property enhances the experience.
The room was outdated, lacking modern renovations. I could hear footsteps from the guests above, which kept me up at night. The noise from the street outside also disrupted my rest despite closing the windows.

the creaky floors were unbearable, like a haunted house. also, they could at least have provided a kettle for tea, or even a fridge. i was hoping for a complimentary gesture given the room's age. almost wrote a good review, but the lack of air conditioning during a heatwave sealed the deal. 5 stars would have been nice.

Lovely views and outstanding breakfast service. The staff was incredibly friendly, especially Tetoo, who provided gluten-free vegan bread. A great spot close to attractions like Rigi and Pilatus.

The room was spacious and super comfortable. I loved the lovely view of Lake Lucerne, it made the stay feel special. Also, the decor had this charming Swiss vibe that added to the experience. Only problem was, it got a bit noisy from the traffic outside when the window was open, but with the window closed, the fresh air was missing. Overall, a cozy place with great hospitality!

Incredible Views and Great Service
Our stay was super chill. Robert helped us settle in and whip up breakfast, which was delicious! The room had this awesome view, letting in tons of light. Plus, it was just a short walk to the train. Unfortunately, the creaky floors could be heard at night, which was a bit annoying.

charming stay with delightful details
The hotel is preserved beautifully with history evident in every corner. Our standard double room was bright and inviting with a stunning view of the surroundings. Complimentary homemade breakfast featuring fresh bread and local delicacies was a wonderful touch. The friendly owner was attentive and provided us each with a Lucerne visitors card for local attractions.
However, street noise was noticeable, especially in the evenings.
